NiKo: I think as a team, we are on the right path
G2 NiKo expressed his confidence in the team's progress.
Nikola “NiKo” Kovac who finished as the fifth best player in 2022, recently gave HLTV an interview in which he shared his thoughts on the current state of his team and their performances.
In the interview, the Bosnian star expressed his confidence in the team's progress and stated that he “think as a team, G2 are on the right path." He went on to say that the team has been working hard to improve their communication and teamwork, and that they are starting to see the results of their efforts in their recent matches.
NiKo also highlighted the importance of staying focused and motivated, saying that G2 “have established a system, and are constantly improving it, teamplay is getting better, also individuals are starting to play better and feel more confident. Looking forward to 2023."
The Bosnian rifler and the rest of his team have been performing well in recent matches, especially at the BLAST Premier World Final event where the G2 squad secured title victory in the last big event of the year. The team is on the rise and many are looking forward to see the results of their hard work in the upcoming tournaments.
As an individual overall in 2022, NiKo's performance on the server has been nothing short of outstanding, and that’s why he can find himself as one of the top CS:GO players in the world once again. With his skills, experience and dedication, he will likely continue to be a force to be reckoned with in the world of competitive CS:GO.

He boasts a 1.31 Impact rating, which places him at No. 2 among his peers, and an 87.2 ADR, which puts him at the top of the list. NiKo's performance in opening duels is particularly noteworthy, as he has a knack for finding the first kill in 15.0% of all rounds and 21.2% of G2's round wins, which is the second highest in the Top 20. He also holds the record for the highest multi-kills of any rifler, with a staggering 19.5%.
