NiKo prefers Anubis over two other ‘newcomers’
G2’s Bosnian star seems to be happy with the newest addition to the CS:GO Active Duty map pool.
Earlier this month, the developers from Valve released the new CS:GO update which brought back Anubis as an official Active Duty Map replacing the iconic Dust2. Anubis was first introduced to the game back in March 2020 in scrimmage mode before Valve decided to make it an official competitive map just 10 days after its first appearance.
So far, we’ve heard a lot of different opinions on the new map from experts and pro players like FaZe Clan’s Twistzz, who in a recent interview stated he thinks Anubis is going to be great for the Counter-Strike scene.
“I honestly think the map is going to be great for the scene. I think it’s a very slow-paced map. You get punished as a CT playing aggressive and you probably get punished as a T even playing aggressive. So, I think it’s going to be very tactical, and you know, I think CS is always great with tactical maps in it again.” – Twistzz told Blix.gg in an interview.
Another player who recently gave his thoughts on the new map is G2’s Bosnian star, NiKo, who reversed his previous take by calling it better than Vertigo and Ancient.
