NiKo: I need much more experience

G2 took home their second victory in ESL Pro League Season 13 after dominating the Frenchmen from Vitality 2-0. NiKo lead the charge for his team and finished on top of the scoreboard with a 1.44 Rating.

Going into the match, the Bosnian superstar wanted to prove that he is the right man for the hybrid role after he was criticized for a poor performance in Group B’s opening match against the Swedish Ninjas.

And he did. NiKo was in much better form and more efficient as he led the way with a stellar performance in the matchup against Vitality while he seemed to favor rifles over the AWP. He talked with the desk at ESL Pro League in a post-match interview where they talked about his switch to the hybrid role.

“I don’t feel super confident yet, especially with the game I had yesterday, my confidence was not really at the level I wanted it to be. Today was much better. I Think I have the ability to have this role, but I think I need much more experience. It’s just in my head every time I miss a shot; I know that everyone is watching and everyone expects me to perform, so that’s a bit tricky.”
