"niko" helps OG with 2-0 victory
OG defeat Nordavind with a comfortable 2-0 victory
After benching the French rifler Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt, OG was in dire need of a fifth and final member going into the DreamHack Masters Spring 2021 Closed Qualifiers. The savior turned out to be Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen as he joined OG on loan just in time for him to compete at the event. You can read more about the loan-agreement right here:

Whilst it is still uncertain whether or not "niko" will remain as a player for the OG roster it seems very plausible as they have already won their first series with him in the roster. They managed to beat Nordavind 2-0 and move closer to a spot at the DreamHack Masters Spring 2021 main event.
The first map took place on Nordavind's map pick Inferno. The OG roster has had severe issues with the map of Inferno in the latest of times, only managing a 20% win rate on Inferno in the past three months. This, however, was by no means apparent when facing Nordavind. With stellar CT-sided holds and impressive individual performances, they managed a 16-4 victory on map one.
The second map was OG's map pick and was to be played over on Dust2. With momentum carrying over from the first map it was difficult to imagine the series going to three maps. Despite a better attempt from the Nordavind side it was also OG to finish what they had started. They ended the map 16-8 and finished the series 2-0.
