NAVI settles the CIS score against Virtus.pro
A deadly duo in Perfecto and s1mple destroyed VP in the Upper semi-final.
Natus Vincere started DreamHack Masters Spring slowly with a narrow win against mousesports. The second match of the day ended more convincingly.
Against Virtus.pro s1mple and NAVI looked like a well-oiled machine. Despite losing both pistol rounds on Dust2, Natus Vincere won comfortably 16-10. Only YEKINDAR and Jame were performing to their standards on the VP roster during the map.
It did not get better on Inferno. Again s1mple and Perfecto were pushing the NAVI squad to a near-perfect first half. Newcomer Valeriy 'B1T' Vakhovskiy also followed up on a good Dust2 performance with a similar showing. A promising sign for the NAVI roster, who had absolutely no problems in dismantling the Virtus.pro roster, who has not been at their best since the defeat in the Grand Final at IEM Katowice.
Perfecto was the MVP of the match, and also delivered the highlight of the game with an ace in the end of Inferno.
With a decisive 16-7 win, NAVI made it clear for everyone, that they are back and a possible contender for the title at DreamHack Masters Spring.
