NAVI qualify for BLAST Spring Final after beating NIP
s1mple and NAVI got their revenge over hampus and company through a solid 2-0 win.
The current CS:GO rulers from Natus Vincere have had a quite unsuccessful BLAST Premier Spring Groups campaign, having lost to MIBR, Astralis and NIP. Nonetheless, have Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev and company still managed to book a ticket for the prominent BLAST Spring Final tournament in June this year.
The qualification became a reality this Sunday when NAVI met the Swedes from NIP for a rematch from the previous stage. Last time NIP got the better of the world leaders - however, today the power balance had turned.
Not even a strong NIP comeback on Overpass turning a 7-14 deficit into 14-14 could overthrow NAVI, as they showed impressive damage control in a tough situation, securing the 2-0 win despite the Swedes stepping up their game on the second map.
