NAVI near early exit – Complexity out of BLAST Globals
It took all three maps for s1mple and NAVI to edge past the “Juggernaut”.
Complexity – Natus Vincere 1-2 (19-17, 8-16, 11-16)
It was a close call for NAVI. From being one of the tournament favorites, they were on the brink of elimination today in their match against Complexity. The self-proclaimed “Juggernaut” won the first map after overtime putting pressure on NAVI. A rarely anonymous s1mple started to light up on Nuke, where he was flanked by a well-playing duo of “Boombl4” and “electronic”, which were more than enough to secure them the map.
On Inferno, the two teams followed each other in the first half. In the end, it came down to individual skills in different endgame moments, where s1mple proved again, that he is among the best two players in the world.
Highlight of the match:
The “ninja defuse” from s1mple on inferno was both of major importance but also showed the Ukrainian at his best.
MVP of the match:
Denis ”electronic” Sharipov was the only NAVI player, who was present on all three maps with great performances including a match-winning clutch 1 vs 4.
Denis ”electronic” Sharipov 75-48 (+27), 94.1 ADR, 1.40 rating
