The Bosnian star rifler’s buyout clause has been triggered by Team Falcons.
In what could be the biggest move in Counter-Strike history, Nikola "NiKo" Kovač is poised to join Team Falcons in the near future according to the French news site 1pv.fr.
- According to our sources, an agreement has been reached between the iconic Bosnian player, Nikola "NiKo" Kovač, his current organization, G2 Esports, and Falcons. NiKo's arrival was solidified after Falcons paid the buyout clause of the Bosnian player, a sum measured in millions, 1pv.fr writes.
The Saudi Organization has already hired the most successful coach in CS history Danny "zonic" Sørensen and also signed the most sought-after sports psychologist in the business Lars Robl. The two of them played a key part in Team Vitality’s Major win on home soil in Paris in May 2023.
Emil "Magisk" Reif is also heavily rumored to join the roster, while both Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov and Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer have been mentioned as potential new players.
The rise of Team Falcons on the world scene is expected to cause a major roster shake-up with players from all of the top 3 rosters in the world linked with a move to the Saudi-owned Organization. The trickle-down effect was visible yesterday with Fnatic's announcement of William "mezii" Merriman's departure from the team. The Englishman is expected to join Vitality to replace Magisk.
