Media: FaZe have set their sights on Twistzz
Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken is reportedly in talks with FaZe Clan according to DBLTAP.
According to a report from DBLTAP, the Canadian star is in discussion with FaZe Clan and could possibly soon end his search for a new club. Twistzz has been looking for a new home since December after he decided to part ways with Liquid and look to join a European lineup in the near future. His decision caused the organization to pick up FalleN to replace his spot earlier this month.
The FaZe organization has had trouble recreating the success they had with NiKo and former captain karrigan between 2017 and 2018. Multiple sources have also indicated that the former IGL could soon return to FaZe as he is not inclined to renew his contract with mousesports, but it is unclear how far along those discussions are at the moment.
FaZe will start the year of with a busy schedule as they are set to play in BLAST Premier Spring, IEM Katowice, and ESL Pro League Season 13 after they compete at cs_summit 7. It is unclear if the talks with Twistzz will be closed out in time before their first event which is scheduled to kick off on January 25.
