Marathon night-series end in the favour of ENCE
Spirit was left empty-handed after their match against ENCE.
ENCE took upon Spirit in the CCT Central Europe Malta Finals 1. The mixed European team led by Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer advanced to the CCT Central Europe Malta Finals after they took a marathon win over the Russian team, the match took almost five hours and ended close to 4 AM in Malta.
Starting the series off on Anubis Spirit was the team to come out pressing the speeder. The Russian side managed to get themselves 11 rounds on the less favored T side. Switching sides ENCE secured overtime after they also got 11 rounds on the T side. Despite a comeback from ENCE, Spirit took map one 19-16. ENCE bounced back from their disappointing loss on Anubis as they took map two to send us to the decider. Mirage came out as the last map of the series. A complete repetition of the first match as both teams got 11 rounds on the T side to send the series into overtime. However, this time ENCE was the team to come out 19-17 to secure a spot in the CCT Central Europe Malta Finals playoffs.
