Magisk and Xyp9x stars as Astralis survives another day at IEM Summer
The two Astralis players delivered some impressive Counter-Strike against NA team Extra Salt.
Astralis is ready for a rendezvous with Gambit in the lower brackets at IEM Summer.
The Danes won their elimination match against Extra Salt, who started the match with a 7-1 lead on Vertigo, but from then on it all collapsed after Astralis began to grind their way back.
Both Xyp9x, Magisk, and dupreeh were fired up after the bad start to the map, and the trio was instrumental on Vertigo, where Astralis won convincingly 16-10 after a brilliant T-side on the map.
Since the permanent addition of Bubzkji in the starting lineup, Astralis has looked good on Nuke. Today they picked the map again and showed one more time, that this is still a stronghold for the legendary team. Despite a fine performance from Josh 'oSee' Ohm, the American could not prevent his team from losing the match.
Extra Salt is eliminated at the tournament, while Astralis will face Gambit in the lower brackets tomorrow at 20.00 (CEST).
