The legend is back! kennyS to compete at IEM Winter
Due to nexa facing Visa issues, the iconic AWPer will return to the server for G2.
The French phenomenon of Kenny “kennyS” Schrub will feature for G2 at the upcoming IEM Winter, the organization confirm on Twitter this Tuesday. The 26-year-old AWPer is set to replace Nemanja “nexa” Isaković, due to the Serbian IGL facing Visa issues before the $250.000 event.
- nexa is currently experiencing Visa issues impacting his ability to travel to the EU. We are uncertain if he can compete in IEM Winter at this time. As such, we’re excited to welcome kennyS back to the main roster as our stand-in AWPer. As soon as nexa’s issues are resolved, he will return to his position in the team.
kennyS is currently benched on G2, which he has been since March this year after the iconic organization decided to replace him with the veteran rifler Audric “JaCkz” Jug. This has meant that kennyS only have played 10 matches for the French-Balkan mix throughout 2021. The legendary AWPer will get his comeback on the 2nd of December when IEM Winter begins.
