kennyS: I’m someone who loves LAN events and their crazy vibes
The French AWP'er from G2 answers some questions regarding Football and the Esports scene in an interview with soofoot.com.
kennyS talks about the atmosphere at the big tournaments and the similarity between football and Esports in a French interview. The G2 AWP’er is a big fan of PSG and his dream as a child was to live in Paris and to be an ultra “As a child, my dream was to live in Paris, to have my subscription to the Parc and to be an ultra.”
Sport and Esport are increasingly being associated and the 25-year-old thinks the atmosphere in football and Esport are very similar, as he's been playing in front of thousands of people like in ESL Cologne.
“When you have 12,000 people in front of you, in a closed arena, I think you will feel an atmosphere close to the one on the football stadiums. The ground shakes, you get chills when you step on stage, and the adrenaline rush is at its peak when you sit behind your PC.” He said.
kennyS haven’t been able to feel the incredible atmosphere at events lately because of the Covid-19 pandemic, but he hopes the LAN events will return as soon as possible.
“Personally, I miss LANs a lot, but we have no choice. We do what we can and we must hope that the COVID situation will be resolved quickly.
