kennyS: The end of the year was difficult for me
The French AWPer opens up about a tough period with criticism and negatives.
Kenny “kennyS” Schrub and G2 didn’t end 2020 on a high note, presenting a string of poor results, even though the French-Balkan mixed team showed a glimpse of excellence in periods. kennyS have in an interview with 1pv.fr expressed his thoughts on a tough 2020 season, especially for the French AWPer. When asked on which moment of 2020 have been the worst, kennyS stated the following.
“There are several to pick with this year being so special, but I will say that the end of the year was more difficult for me, having been strongly criticized. I questioned myself but I took action. Today, I am happy with the work I did at the end of the season and I feel that it will help me get back in 2021 in the best way possible.”
kennyS has since his debut in 2012 been an institution in the Counter-Strike world, being someone who has had a massive impact on the scene. The former Titan and Envyus player is both a Major winner but also a Major MVP, after his heroic performance at DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca in 2015.
Even though 2020 have been tough for kennyS, the legendary player has still managed to frag out from time to time, presenting ridiculous plays with the AWP.
