Katowice Champions invited to BLAST Showdown

Three teams have been added to the star-studded event BLAST Premier Spring Showdown. Heroic, Gambit, and Furia will join Astralis, Team Liquid, Team Vitality, G2, and OG at the event. A total of 16 teams will fight for only two tickets to the BLAST Premier Spring Final.

The Showdown tournament must be one of the most competitive qualifiers in CS history with five of the top 10 teams in the world present at the tournament. The reason behind the packed qualifiers is to be found in the BLAST Spring Groups, where a number of the big teams were eliminated early and therefore failed the direct qualification.

BLAST Premier Spring Showdown will begin next month.
