HUNDEN will not extend his contract with Heroic
The former MAD Lions coach has earlier this month been linked to a potential move to Astralis.
Nicolai “HUNDEN” Petersen and the Danish CS:GO team, Heroic will not continue their partnership, as the profiled coach has announced that he leaves the team when his contract expires. HUNDEN has in a statement on Twitter said that there have been negotiations between the two parties. However, he has decided to seek another path in his career.
- In the past few months, I have been in negotiations with Heroic about a contract renewal, but I have come to realization that I wish to begin a new chapter of my career once my contract with Heroic expires.”
HUNDEN touches on rumours about him leaking or sharing Heroic's strategies and tactics, which is something he denies.
- Heroic and I have been a perfect match, but the recent turn of events is deeply regrettable (…)
Recent rumors claim that I have shared Heroic's stratbook. This I can categorically deny. I have the biggest respect for Heroic, and I would never want to harm the team or in any way affect them negatively (…)
The material I have shared is anti-strat material of opponents. This material was shared with colleagues from other teams in the context of sparring, HUNDEN says in his statement.
