Heroic without HUNDEN: "I believe we brought the best team we could for Cologne"
News about Heroic traveling to Cologne without their coach ignites the rumors, that Astralis is chasing "HUNDEN" as their next coach.
Yesterday HLTV reported, that Danny "zonic" Sørensen could be on the verge of leaving Astralis, who instead had targeted Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen as the replacement.
Today Heroic announced out of the blue, that they would not bring Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen as their coach for IEM Cologne. A big surprise given the fact, that IEM Cologne is one of the biggest tournaments in the calendar. We asked in-game leader Casper "cadiaN" Møller at the press conference before IEM Cologne, why "HUNDEN" is not with the team.
- For the moment we want to focus on what is happening in Cologne. We are acting on what we believe is best for team, and what will increase our chances of winning the most. That is why we haven't talked about it much, the Danish captain said. You can see the whole answer in the video below.
Heroic will enter IEM Cologne in the Group Stage, where they are in the same bracket as NAVI, FURIA, and Astralis.
