Media: zonic considers future on Astralis

One of the key architects behind the most successful Organisation in CS history, Danny "⁠zonic⁠" Sørensen is contemplating leaving Astralis. This is reported by HLTV, who cites "sources with knowledge of the situation".

The Astralis team has had a difficult 2021, which only turned more challenging with the departure of Nicolai "device" Reedtz, who wanted to switch allegiance to Ninjas in Pyjamas. The rest of the Astralis core including coach Danny "⁠zonic⁠" Sørensen has contracts set to expire at the end of the year.

HLTV also reports, that Astralis have already started planning for 2022, and have placed the coach of Heroic, Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen at the top of their list of candidates for the coaching job.
