Heroic will substitute in for EG at the BLAST Showdown event

The second team on the world ranking has been invited to the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown to fill the gap left by Evil Geniuses, who are not able to attend the tournament. The Danes will join the likes of NiP, FaZe, FURIA, and Liquid after failing to qualify for the event, having placed 3-4 at the Elisa Invitational 2 in early November.

BLAST Premier Fall Showdown will kick off on November 24 and award spots at the Fall Finals to the top-two teams as well as $150.000 up for grabs. The event will be played from November 24-29 in a single-elimination, bo3 bracket.

Heroic will face off Endpoint in the first round of the tournament, on Thursday at 19:30 (CEST).
