Heroic sign dupreeh until the end of 2023
In an exciting twist, Heroic has secured the services of the most winning player in the CS:GO era.
Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen, a five-time Major champion, is making a return to competitive play, donning the Heroic jersey as a temporary addition until the culmination of 2023. This strategic maneuver comes in the wake of Heroic's decision to transition into a new era, parting ways with their long-time AWPer and in-game leader, Casper "cadiaN" Møller.
- I am happy to announce I have agreed to help Heroic in their upcoming tournaments until end of year. Since my benching last summer, I have been putting all my effort into the closed beta and early stage of CS2, and now I have the ability to help Heroic in a tough situation, dupreeh stated in a post on Twitter.
Dupreeh's journey to Heroic's roster was marked by an intriguing hiatus, commencing in June. His absence from the competitive arena was occasioned by Vitality's decision to usher in Shahar "flameZ" Shushan, a move intended to future-proof their roster following their victory at the BLAST.tv Paris Major.
Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen has been linked with several teams during his time on the bench for Team Vitality. A move to Team Falcons, where his former coach Danny "zonic" Sørensen has taken over the reins could still be a possibility for the upcoming year, where the PGL Major in Copenhagen is pinpointed as a big ambition for the Dane to be a part of.
His first appearance for Heroic is scheduled for Wednesday in the upcoming Roobet Cup, where the Danes will face off against Aurora.
