Heroic secures themself a spot in the Semi-Final
cadiaN and co. took down G2 to join Liquid in the Semi-Finals
Heroic will take on Liquid coming into the Semi-Finals at BLAST Premier Fall Finals after they took down G2 in a Bo3 match.
The veto of the match was in favor of Heroic, who could see G2 picking Mirage, a map that Heroic has looked comfortable playing doing the 2022 year. Coming off to a great start on their opponent's map pick was Heroic, a 12-3 ct side with all Heroic players playing lights out, which gave them the perfect start and a good position when switching over to the T side. Despite 5 rounds from G2, Heroic closed things out 16-8 in dominant fashion.
The second map was the map pick of Heroic Nuke. A controlled game from the very start, G2 saw themselves getting 10 rounds on the CT side. A decent T side from the Danes. Coming over to the T side, HooXi and G2 dominated the map taking 5 rounds fast by pressing the speeder. The mixed team, closed out the game 6-16.
A decider was needed, Vertigo was the map being left over in the veto. A close first half ending 6-9 in favor of the ct side from G2. Switching over to the CT side Heroic dominated A ramp from the start. 10-3 was the scoreline from Heroic on the CT side. Heroic controlled G2 on the Vertigo and closed out the game 16-12.
