Heroic destroys Bad News Bears in Pro League opener
The Danish team started their title defense superbly against the NA team.
Tier 1 CS:GO is finally back! After a player break, we got to see the defending champion of the ESL Pro League kick off the new season with a bang!
Heroic won the 13th edition of the tournament with a devastating 16-6 win against Gambit on Mirage. Today they continued the pure dominance on the very same map with a 16-1 win against Bad News Bears, who won their first and only round at 11-0!
The Danes continued their superiority on Nuke. Again the difference between the two teams was significant to a point, where you almost felt bad for the Bears, who looked uncomfortable throughout the match. Meanwhile Heroic just kept putting numbers on the board winning the first half 13-2!
René 'TeSeS' Madsen was once again instrumental for the Danes in the match. The gifted rifler was a big problem for Bad News Bears, who soon enough realized the bad news in the matchup that was far too one-sided to really get a grasp. Are Heroic that good? Or will BNB be cannon-fodder at ESL Pro League. Time will tell.
Tomorrow Heroic will face Spirit, while Bad News Bears needs to find another level against Team Vitality to win their first match at the tournament.
