Heroic advances to the quarter-finals

Heroic took upon MOUZ In the Group B upper bracket final. The winner advances to the quarter-finals, losing team goes to playoffs round 2.

Starting the series off on Nuke, Heroic came out winning the first pistol round of the game. A great A-site defense was enough for the Danes to secure themselves a 2-0 lead in the early stages of the game. Despite an early lead for the Danes, MOUZ fought their way back into the game winning eight out of nine rounds in a row to take an 8-3 lead. Heroic bounced back and closed the gap to only being behind 8-7. Despite a great T side for MOUZ were Heroic the better team in the second half. With cadiaN and sjuush playing well on the T side, MOUZ stood no chance as the Danes closed out the game 16-12.

Taking upon each other on Inferno, a close encounter between the mixed European team and the Danes was on the schedule. Heroic once again came off to best in the first half winning the first four rounds of the map. However, MOUZ fought their way back and won the half 9-6. On the T side, MOUZ couldn't find the momentum they needed as Heroic kept on pressing their economy. Winning the last seven out of eight possible, Heroic took Inferno 2-0 and is now ready for the quarter-finals.
