G2 earn fourth spot at BLAST Premier World Final 2023
"NiKo" and his troops are set to defend their BLAST Premier World Final title later this year
When it comes to entertaining events with some of the biggest teams and most talented players in the world, you are almost never disappointed when the tournament organizers are BLAST Premier. The biggest event under the name of BLAST Premier is without any doubt the yearly BLAST Premier World Final event. At this current moment in time, four of the best teams in the world have earned a spot at the prestigious event, most recently G2.
After winning IEM Cologne 2023 in the Cathedral of Counter-Strike, IGL "HooXi" and his troops over at G2 earned enough points to secure them a spot in the World Final event later this year. Alongside G2, three additional spots have already been claimed by Heroic, Vitality, and FaZe. Last year's event concluded with G2 as the champions, lifting their first trophy with Danish IGL "HooXi" in charge.
Before the $1.000.000 event kicks off on December 13th, four additional teams have to be found by accumulating an overall amount of points or placement at either ESL Pro League S18 or BLAST Fall Finals.
