Fessor join Astralis Talent
Astralis have announced the signing of Frederik “Fessor” Sørensen to the Astralis Talent roster.
Fessor has lately been playing as a stand-in for the Astralis Talent squad, but the time as a stand-in has now come to an end as the young Dane officially joins the team, the organization has announced.
The 20-year-old talent is already a well-known name in Denmark, having recently played for HYENAS and South with veteran players such as MSL and aizy. Already this Monday night, Fessor will play his first official game against Masonic in the Power Liga. The addition of Fessor resulted in Mads “vester” Vestergaard getting benched, while they explore his options, Dennis Vang, Head of Astralis Talent, stated on Twitter.
“After having worked with the set-up and culture, I have also been able to map out our short comings and where we need to improve. We and I have learned a lot and those learning also go into how we have formed the team, how we structure the work and specifically, what skillsets we need to get us where we want to be.”
We work with the players to improve in those areas, and bringing in Fessor will immediately add some of the skillsets that we need. He brings immense ingame abilities and a great portion of experience from playing on a higher level. Add that Frederik understands and embraces the journey and the level of work needed to get to the finish line, which makes him the perfect fit for our next steps to be taken. We as an organization firmly believe in this lineup and are planning to further enhance the setup around the team and on the team. We have built a foundation and now the aim is to take it to the next level, with a stronger set-up, which we’ll tell more about in due time.” – Dennis Vang
