Astralis rebuilds academy roster with alexsomfan
The 29-year-old has been appointed the newest head coach of Astralis Talent
Since benching the iconic Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth as well as parting ways with the bigger part of their roster, Astralis Talent was left a hollow version of itself. The new signing of Alexander "alexsomfan" Nielsen sees Astralis prioritize the rebuilding of their academy roster once again. The 29-year-old Dane will fill the shoes of Mathias "R0nic" Pinholt who earlier this year had left the academy roster to help strengthen the main roster of Astralis.
Since Astralis Talent only consists of two players at this point in time, the new Head Coach will surely be on the look out for new and talented players to fill in the active roster before the season continues. Astralis' Sports Director Kasper Straube said the following about the current situation at Astralis Talent:
"We have sold some very talented players and we are now in the process of putting together the team for the autumn. The Head Coach will play an important role in this,"
Speaking on the newest addition of Astralis Talent, Kasper Straube is adamant that the new Head Coach is a perfect fit for the iconic Danish organization:
"alexsomfan's approach to player development and creating the best team and the best possible conditions is exactly what we have been looking for, and his results as an in-game leader prove that he also has the tactical insights we're looking for."
Astralis Talent currently looks as follows:
Mikkel "MistR" Thomsen
Alexander "Altekz" Givskov
Alexander "alexsomfan" Nielsen (Head Coach)
