The series started on Dust2 where FaZe got the best start to the series by taking the map 16-11 after a though fight. In what could be his last tournament with FaZe, olofmeister played a massive role with key plays that helped his squad to close out the map. The Swede ended up as the highest fragger on the server.
On Nuke, FaZe started to show CT aggression and did everything they could to lock Liquid down, which paid off as the North American squad were unable to create any space, resulting in a 14-1 lead before halftime for coldzera’s troops. A miracle would be needed for Liquid to comeback in the game and with a lost pistol round, their hope was pretty much crushed. FaZe closed out the map 16-1 and secured their first official match victory with Twistzz in dominant fashion. And the man himself finished on top of the scoreboard.
