FaZe is off to a great start at ESL Pro League S17

Rooster stood no chance against the karrigan and co.

FaZe took upon Rooster in their opening match at ESL Pro League S17. Going into the matchup were was no doubt that FaZe was the clear favorite to win the match.

Starting the series off on Nuke, FaZe took control of the game from the very start, the mixed European team secured themselves a 3-0 lead in the early stages of the game. Despite Rooster coming back to tie the game at 3-3, the Australian team didn't stand a chance against a FaZe team who kept on pressing the speeder. FaZe took the first half 11-4. Switching over to the CT side Rooster couldn't find the momentum they needed in order to make the comeback. FaZe closed out the game 16-6.

Rooster picked Inferno as their map pick in the series. This time, Rooster came out controlling the game. The Australian team secured themselves a decent lead going up 4-0 on the T side. However, FaZe fought their way back to close out the half in front 8-7. Led by the Latvian sniper, FaZe destroyed Rooster winning eight rounds in a row to close out the map 16-7 and the series 2-0.
