FaZe is off to a great start at Blast Fall Finals!
Karrigan and co. took down OG in a dominant fashion.
The first game of the BLAST Premier Fall Finals is set and over with FaZe being victorious after they dominated OG in a Bo3 match.
The first map was Ancient, the map picked by OG. Coming off to a great start was FaZe as they took the pistol as well as the following round to go up 2-0 in the early stages of the game. The lack of firepower got OG only three rounds on the T side. Despite Ancient being a big CT-sided map, OG looked at a hard wall to climb if they wanted to make the comeback happen. Second half Ancient started just like the first half ended, FaZe in the driver's seat pressing the speeder to take four rounds in a row to close out the game 16-3.
Up next was Mirage, a map that FaZe has been showing great performances on doing their 2022 year. The map started with OG showing what they are really made of as they took the first five rounds on the CT side, but then FaZe and Twistzz saw themself winning the last teen rounds of the half on some great calls by the IGL karrigan and insane plays by Twistzz. Switching over to the second half a repeat of the first map was on the menu. FaZe dominated OG on the CT side and took seven straight wins to close out the game 16-6.
