FaZe eliminates Furia after two fantastic CT-sides
The Brazilians from Furia will not be part of IEM Summer 2021 after an early exit at the qualifier.
Yesterday's surprising loss against Movistar Riders came back to haunt the Brazilian roster, who got eliminated from the qualifier today against FaZe.
On both Nuke and Inferno Furia had huge problems with the defense from FaZe. Finn 'karrigan' Andersen's troops won the second half on Nuke 8-1 to close the map in style.
They continued on Inferno, where they started as CT. A devastating 12-3 lead at the break left Furia with very few chances to survive in the tournament.
Marcelo 'coldzera' David started the second half by winning two clutch situations in a row against his countrymen to practically seal the deal. Despite a nice attempt to make a comeback, the gap was simply too big for Furia.
FaZe will face the loser of FunPlus Phoenix vs G2 tomorrow, while Furia is eliminated.
