ENCE break G2’s streak! 2-1 victory against G2
ENCE secure their second victory by defeating G2
G2 has shown incredible form so far at the ESL Pro League Season 13 event. Going into the series they were the only team in Group B to have won all their matches. More impressively they have defeated both of their prior opponents 2-0. This time, however, it was ENCE's time to shine as they managed to take home the victory and thereby secure their second win at the event.
The first map took place on Train. Perhaps unsurprisingly it was the map pick of ENCE. It is one of, if not the worst, map for the G2 side, only mustering up a win-rate of 20%. ENCE, however, has proven themselves more than capable and currently has a win-rate of 83,3% on Train. As one could imagine it was also ENCE to take home Train. They outclassed G2 and finished map one 16-5.
The second map took place on Mirage, a territory far more familiar to G2. With the help from a dangerous “huNter”, they managed to sweep the ENCE roster off their feet. The relentless aggression from G2 proved too much for ENCE to handle and they would have to see themselves defeated at a scoreline of 16-6.
This, of course, meant a final map to decide which team could walk away with the victory and the three points. The common ground was set to be Nuke. And as the deciding map, it was also the most competitive of the three. In the end, it was the strategical approach from ENCE to carry through and close the series 2-1 with a 16-10 victory on Nuke.
