EliGE: "People forget how insane and dominant kennyS was"
Picking a top 3 of all-time AWP'ers is not easy, who do you think deserves a spot?
The star of the show is often the AWP'er in a roster. From being able to get entry frags easily to having the possibility of outright winning rounds with multi-kills it is, without any doubt, one of the most impactful roles within a modern CS:GO roster. We all know of the capabilities of "s1mple" and "ZywOo", but what happens when pros are asked for an all-time top 3?
In a Youtube video the CS:GO media Rivalry CS:GO sat down with various pros and asked them for their top 3 all-time AWP'ers. Whilst it was clear that five names stood out between the pros it was for different reasons and with different priorities in mind. If you ask Team Liquid's Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski the top 3 are "kennyS", "device", and "s1mple". He explains that it is clear, in this current moment of time, that "device" and "s1mple" are unreal, however people may forget the times of "kennyS".
"The second one I have is kennyS. I think that he was pretty crazy for his time when he was just dominating and getting 30-bombs pretty much every game. It is not the most recent and I think some people might have forgotten how insane and dominant he was back then."
