On Sunday, Heroic clinched the ESL Pro League S13 title following an intense Grand final series against Gambit. The Danish squad managed to maintain their composure despite slow starts on the first three maps of the bo5, taking down Gambit on Inferno and Train in OT and wrapping up the series 3-2 on the decider of Mirage.

Heroic’s captain, Casper “cadiaN” Møller secured the last round for his team with a completely ridiculous 1v4 clutch that will go down in the history of Counter-Strike.
The Danish IGL spoke with the desk at ESL Pro League in a post-match interview and gave his thoughts on the victory.
“That was such a long game, so intense, it was five maps and one of them was with four overtimes, basically counting for two. They gave us a run for their money, Gambit played so well, they’re probably considered the best team by everyone, this is our first tournament and we did it. I feel like that’s part of CS history by now,” the Dane said in the post-match interview, still filled with adrenaline after he secured the last round with a stylish 1v4 clutch.
