Ax1Le takes home the MVP award from ESL Pro League S13

The young rifler presented a staggering 1.28 Rating / 85.4 ADR throughout the event.

The promising Gambit youngster Sergey "⁠Ax1Le⁠" Rykhtorov had a phenomenal individual campaign at the just concluded ESL Pro League Season 13. The 18-year-old displayed a sky-high level of CS from the very beginning to the very, which also has granted him the prestigious Most Valuable Player Award for the $750.000 event.

Ax1Le and his fellow teammates from Gambit didn’t manage to secure the title, in yesterday’s Grand Final brawl against Heroic. Despite falling short, the Russian youngsters played some immense Counter-Strike where they forced Heroic to play their very best to win.

After the Grand Final yesterday, some people thought and believed that the MVP award should have been given to Heroic's Casper "cadiaN" Møller, instead of Ax1Le. The Danish in-game leader was instrumental in the Danes' impressive victory, where he also made a match-winning 1v4 clutch which undoubtedly will go down in history.
