Analyst on jks price tag: No one is going to pay that amount of money for him
Does Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunović have a point?
G2 is set to rebuild its roster once again with Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen and Audric “JACKZ” Jug both looking to leave the team after a lackluster 2022 season. Looking at the market of free agents and benched players, an individual like Justin “jks” Savage stands out as one of the most prominent names.
CS:GO analyst and former Renegades coach, Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunović can also see jks as a very good solution for G2. However, there’s only one problem – the price. In an episode of “Snake and Banter” with Duncan 'Thorin' Shields and Alex 'Mauisnake' Ellenberg, kassad touched on a potential transfer of the Aussie to G2.
The changes (Aleksib and JACKZ) have been necessary – not just now – but four months ago. But the thing is like, they need a CT anchor. They don’t need a classical role player. JACKZ was playing the CT anchor, and he was terrible at it. He’s not that type of player. (…) In a championship organization like G2 that has invested so much money – $1 Million on NiKo, $600.000 on m0NESY, $400.000 for nexa and hunter. You know, that’s a lot of money. You want to get a player, who can fill out that CT anchor position. And that’s jks.
jks’ price is, I think, $200.000. Now that’s insane, right. jks is a good player, a Top 20 player in 2019 and 2022, we know what he can do – he won IEM Katowice with FaZe. But he didn’t play for a fricking year. No organization is going to pay $200.000 for that guy, kassad said.
