Will Heroic dominate Group B in Malta?
The Danes are going into the Group B as the clear favorites.
Heroic goes into ESL Pro League Season 17 with an IEM Katowice second place in the bag. The Danes only lost to the world's best in G2 during the Grand Final in the hall of heroes. Such a result for Heroic will boost their confidence significantly despite getting their dream crushed at IEM Katowice 2023.
Heroic kicks off the tournaments by playing against the Spanish team Movistar Riders. Movistar Riders aren't the same team that we used to see make upsets on the biggest stage. The new roster has been playing poorly in their recent matches.
Taking a look at the group, Heroic is the clear favorite to make the playoffs in 1st place. MOUZ and FURIA are also to be found in the group, however, there shouldn't be any concern that the Danes are the team to go all the way to the playoffs.
