With his eighth MVP award of the year, Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev now holds the record of most MVP awards won during a calender year.

The award was achieved after NAVI made a run in the lower bracket at BLAST World Finals to secure themselves the title and the $500,000 in first prize.
