Nikola "NiKo" Kovač is undeniable one of the most talented pros ever to touch CS:GO. But despite his incredible performances, his career has been defined by a string of losing short of ultimate glory.
At the age of 14, NiKo kicked off his career in Counter-Strike 1.6, competing in the local Balkan scene. NiKo began gaining notoriety as a rising star after that but took a step back from a competition in 2014. The Bosnian star rejected an offer from MOUZ as he felt he was too young and wasn't ready to compete in an international lineup. But after his return to play in local competitions, NiKo reconsidered his decision, accepting the call from the German organization in 2015.
In 2017, NiKo joined FaZe and quickly leveled up to become the team's star player. After a couple of years of strong performances, FaZe still reckoned on NiKo to do the shot-calling, but the Bosnian star was ready to move on as he joined G2. Now, the 25-year-old is known as one of the best rifles in the world, with a total headshot percent of 50,4.
