s1mple on m0NESY: He needs to get some more experience against better teams
Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev offers career advice to the Russian CS:GO Prodigy.
The 16-year-old CS:GO prodigy Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov has caught the eyes of many people this year following his outstanding performances across the WePlay Academy League where he has been able to show his incredible skills and consistently prove himself. m0NESY is currently working towards his future in CS:GO and is fair to say that he is on the right way to potentially becoming one of the best players the game has ever seen
Even NAVI’s Major winning MVP, Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev has noticed m0NESY’s progress as a player and recently offered some serious career advice to the 16-year-old star, who got invited to FACE IT Pro League at the age of just 14.
“I’d recommend him to ask for a one-year loan move because in the future he will definitely deserve to play for NAVI’s main team. You never know what will happen in the future maybe someone will retire or something like that. He needs to get some more experience against better teams.” – s1mple told in an interview with HLTV.org.
“His English is okay, it’s not that good. He needs to practice it with people, and talk to them about something other than CS:GO.”
It’s possible that the NAVI youngster did pay attention to s1mple’s career advice as NAVI is now reportedly open to offers from other organizations that are interested in him, as per reports from Dexerto and 1pv.fr. However, a negative aspect related to this move is that the 16-year-old might not be able to participate in Valve sanctioned tournaments like the Majors, due to conflict of interest if NAVI is also attending the event.
m0NESY is averaging an impressive 1.36 Rating and 1.42 Impact in 2021 but has often failed with the rest of NAVI Junior to reach the latter stages of the tournaments in which they compete.
