Renowned analyst receives death threats after comments about s1mple
CIS and NAVI fans are angry at The Danish analyst Pimp after comments about the Ukrainian superstar.
The prominent expert, analyst and former CS:GO pro Jacob "Pimp" Winneche has gone on Twitter, saying that he has received a “substantial of death threats from CIS NAVI fans”, due to the Dane making some comments on Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev and Natus Vincere.
Pimp has several times, both on the desk at BLAST but also on Twitter, expressed the lack of championships won by NAVI, with the Dane believing they should have won more titles due to fielding two of the best players in the game in s1mple and Denis “electronic” Sharipov.
Something that hasn’t been well received in the CIS region and among NAVI fans. The 25-year old expert states that media sites from the CIS region have caused an untrue perception of his words.
“Your news media in the CIS region have been pushing a false narrative, which has led to me being spammed down by absolute idiots threatening to kill me if I ever set my foot in Ukraine / Russia.” - pimp on Twitter
