Polish Sniper shuts down Astralis
ENCE snatched their first victory at ESL Pro League with a fine 2-0 win.
Olek 'hades' Miskiewicz delivered a masterclass performance, as he and ENCE took down Astralis at ESL Pro League. On the second day of the tournament the Finnish Organiszation was bloodthirsty after a defeat on day 1.
ENCE picked Ancient as the first map despite the fact, that Astralis had shown great promise yesterday on the map. The pick was easily justified by a monster performance from hades, who went +15 in K-D to eliminate all hope for Astralis on the map.
Nuke was the battlefield for the second map. Once again it was ENCE who came out the strongest. It was not until round 10, that Astralis managed to actually kill Olek 'hades' Miskiewicz, who until that point had played hide and seek in the couple of rounds, where Astralis won. But then the Danes came back. Inspired by the new AWP'er Philip 'Lucky' Ewald, Astralis managed to turn a bad start around to a respectable 7-8 half.
The momentum quickly shifted during the second half. ENCE won the first five rounds to put Astralis under maximum pressure. This time it was not only hades shining but the entire roster from ENCE looked good. It ended with a 16-11 victory, which puts ENCE on the board with three points alongside Astralis. Both teams will be back in action tomorrow again.
