Pinnacle Cup moves to LAN in June
Heroic, Fnatic, and Imperial are already confirmed to compete in Sweden.
A new LAN tournament has seen the light of day.
Pinnacle Cup, a traditional online tournament, has set its eyes on the Swedish city Lund to be the host of their first LAN tournament. Eight teams are participating with a total prize pool of $250,000. Heroic, Fnatic, and Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's Imperial Esports are the first three teams to receive an invitation.
The tournament will be played from June 8 - 11 at Sparbanken Skåne Arena, where there is room for 7500 spectators over the course of the event.
Pinnacle Cup is a joint venture of Pinnacle and GRID Esports.
The next final five invitations for the event will be revealed in the coming weeks.
