OG grabbed their first title in 2021 at Spring Sweet Spring 2
mantuu and valde stepped up huge for OG, as they scattered BIG in the Grand Final.
The Grand Final at Spring Sweet Spring 2 was between the two profiled quarterfinals invites in OG and BIG, who had eased their way towards the title-decider, not giving up a single map.
It was also two very competitive teams who clashed together yesterday, in what ended in a huge triumph for the OG-side, who secured their first title this year and the $40.000 1st prize. However, Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen and his troops fought a fierce battle against the Germans from BIG, before they could call themselves champions.
The first two maps ended up being two very close battles with a lot of back-and-forth action, where OG first succeeded to steal BIG’s map pick on Dust2, followed up by BIG taking the win on Nuke. Despite, the 16-13 loss on Nuke, OG showed their strengths and managed to solidify the win with a confident 16-9 win on the decider on Mirage, led by a strong-playing Mateusz “mantuu” Wilczewski.
