OG defeats NAVI 2-0!
A phenomenal performance sends OG through to the group final of Blast Premier Fall Series 2020
OG defeated the giants of NAVI, with an impressive 2-0 victory, meaning a place in the final of their group. The match started on OG territory with their map pick Mirage. Despite Navi winning both pistol rounds, and their superstar S1mple top-fragging the server with 29 kills, it was OG to muster up the win in the end. A close first map that ended 16-14 in favor of OG, meant the European roster leading into the second map, being Dust 2.
Despite NAVI, once again winning the pistol round, OG’s momentum from map one carried through to Dust 2 and saw them winning 7 rounds in a row, before being answered by NAVI. The NAVI superstar and arguably the world's best player, S1mple did everything he could to keep his team in contention. Even though S1mple could once again find himself at the top of the leaderboard, OG seemed to have the answers to every move of NAVI, and defeated the Ukrainian and Russian roster 16-9 on NAVI’s map pick.
