NAVI qualify for playoffs over FURIA
The Russian-Ukrainian side move on to the upper bracket final in Group B following a clean 2-0 victory over the Brazilians.
s1mple and company have secured a spot in the playoffs at IEM Katowice after taking down FURIA in the upper semi-finals. While NAVI are set to face off against Liquid in Group B’s upper bracket, FURIA will have to fight for survival in the lower bracket. Once again it was NAVI’s s1mple who shined on top of the scoreboard, delivering 60 frags combined and made all the difference.

NAVI got the best start to the series as they took the victory on Mirage, where s1mple led the charge for his team. The Russian-Ukrainian side went to halftime with a 9-6 lead before FURIA equalized the score in second half at 12-12. FURIA couldn’t handle NAVI’s pressure on their defense which resulted in a 16-13 map victory for s1mple and company.
On Nuke things were completely different. NAVI were in control throughout the whole time and proved why they are one of the best teams in the world on Nuke, if not the best. The Russian-Ukrainian side closed out the map 16-8 and wrapped up the series 2-0 to secure playoffs and advance further in the tournament.
