Train: 7-16 | yel – 1.82 Rating | 99.3 ADR | 24-9 K/D
Dust2: 16-6 | s1mple – 1.83 Rating | 99.8 ADR | 28-9 K/D
It was a great overall effort from MIBR but NAVI were just too strong for them in the end.
The series started on MIBR’s pick of Mirage where s1mple and company were off to a good start by taking an early lead, 6-0. MIBR started to slowly find their footing and grabbed 5 rounds before halftime, but as the sides switched, NAVI stormed to map point early and closed out the map 16-11, even though they allowed MIBR to pick up 6 rounds before that.
On Train, the Brazilians surprised NAVI early on with a good CT defense that they just couldn’t breakthrough. However, NAVI managed to fight to lower their deficit right before halftime to only one round, but that wasn’t enough for the Russian-Ukrainian side as MIBR completely destroyed them on T-side, winning 8 consecutive rounds without losing a single one to close out the map 7-16.
In the last map of the series, NAVI didn’t let their loss on Train affect them as they now were the ones in control. A stellar performance from NAVI’s s1mple secured the series 16-6, in a map where MIBR couldn’t match up.
