NAVI and Entropiq win opening matches at IEM Fall
The last RMR tournament is in full swing!
One of the first matches in the IEM Fall event was the battle between s1mple’s NAVI and AVE with the bo1 matchup set to be played on Ancient.
Here it was the favorites from NAVI who came out on top after closing out the map 16-12. The first half ended 11-4 in favor of NAVI and it seemed like the Russian-Ukrainian side were going to quickly wrap up the match, but AVE wanted it differently as they managed to lower their deficit to only two rounds, making NAVI sweat. Unfortunately for them, Boombl4’s troops kept their composure and closed out the map, with B1T topping the scoreboard.

On the second stream we saw Entropiq’s squad kick off their IEM Fall campaign with a 16-13 victory over Akuma.
This matchup was set to be played on Nuke, where El1an and company kicked off things with a decent T-side, grabbing 6 rounds before halftime. Even though Akuma took the pistol in the second half to hit double digits, Entropiq still managed to pick themselves up, answering back by taking a force buy round. From there on, El1an and company took control on the defense and went on to close out the map on the back of a wonderful performance from Forester, who dropped 28 frags to help his team take the victory.
