NaVi demolish FURIA with individual power
The DreamHack Masters Spring 2021 Quarter-final was set to be a great spectacle and the team delivered an incredible match.
The first map on Inferno became the most exciting map of the three, a map that contained amazing gameplay from both sides. The map ended in overtime after the two teams equally had won their T side by 8-7, the two teams couldn’t contain each other’s T sides.
FURIA ended up winning the map 22-19, but the Russian electronic will be looking at his teammates after he put up an amazing performance on Inferno, and this secured him the map MVP with a rating of 1.30.
After the defeat on Inferno, NaVi and especially s1mple came out to the second map with a whole different attitude, they were aggressive and took more control, and they demolished the Brazilian roster.
After the first half, NaVi was leading 10-5, and it could have been worse if FURIA had been without their key player KSCERATO.
But FURIA couldn’t do anything as Natus Vincere bulldozed them down, and ended up winning the round 16-6.
The Ukrainian CS:GO legend proved that he is one if not the best in the world, with one of the best individual performances in years with a whopping rating of 2.15, an outrageous performance by the beast.
On the last map on Mirage, NaVi continued their domination from Nuke, it´s like they had something to prove after losing the first map in overtime. They were leading 12-3 at halftime, and the match was only a formality. The Russian roster ended up winning the map 16-6 against FURIA, and secured themselves a place in the semi-finals.
The match will be remembered on Nuke with s1mple in spotlight!
