mousesports eliminate FaZe in late night thriller
It started horrendously but ended in a huge victory for mousesports at DreamHack Masters Spring.
It was game ten within three days for mousesports in the match late Thursday evening against FaZe. Both teams were on the brink of elimination after early losses in the first round of DreamHack Masters Spring.
FaZe started by cleaning out Mirage 16-7. None of the mousesports players ended with positive K-D scores, while Canadian Headshot master Russel 'Twistzz' Van Dulken had a very good time with an average damage of 123.2 per round!
On Nuke the roles were reversed. This time it was Robin 'ropz' Kool who utterly destroyed all opposition. mousesport won 16-5 on the nuclear ground, which sent the match to Overpass as the decider.
Here the two teams for the first time began to trade rounds. FaZe took the lead at halftime with 9-6, but mousesports quickly started to reel in the lead and suddenly ropz and company had the chance to make it 15-12 against an eco-round from FaZe. But mousesports missed their chance, and instead, they had to settle with the match going to overtime.
Here FaZe won the first two rounds, but then acoR and mousesports made a perfect comeback to win the remaining four OT-rounds to take the victory.
FaZe is out of DreamHack Masters Spring, while mousesports live to fight another day at the tournament.
