mousesports eliminate BIG from IEM Summer qualifier
The Germans leave the tournament without getting a single map win against mouz.
ropz and company from mousesports are staying on the winning road as they take down BIG with a quick 2-0 victory to continue their journey in the event, while BIG leaves empty handed on a 7-8th place. The German squad will now turn their focus to the DreamHack Masters Spring tournament, which is scheduled to start on April 29th and run to May 9th.
The action started on Nuke, where BIG gave away too many mistakes in the first half on the defense and that resulted in mouz taking advantage of those mistakes to grab 7 rounds before switching sides. Even though BIG managed to fight their way to a 13-12 lead, acoR and company took the last four needed rounds to close out the map.
Dust2 was up next, and BIG made little improvements on the offense from the previous map. But it still wasn’t enough for them to tie up the series as a strong playing acoR helped his team to close out the map 16-12 by delivering 29 frags.
